Orange & White Game

Come out to the Orange and White Game to better understand the game of Lacrosse.  This is our parent bootcamp for running the scoreboard, the timer, the penalty box, and learning to take stats or be a spotter for each game.

Friday night you can learn from parents that have been doing these roles these first few years of the program. The scrimmages are an opportunity to ask questions and pause the game to better understand what’s happening on the field, and what the officials are doing on the sidelines.  Both Coach Heather and Coach Kendall will be officiating their games and can help the parents understand what’shappening in an unintimidating environment.  We want to prevent parents from being thrown in the fire at an actual game unprepared.  Let us help make each game run smoothly by being prepared.

I hope to see you at the field at 5:30 if you signed up to work the table or if you haven’t yet signed up for a volunteer spot - NOW is your chance, I’ll be at the gate for you to sign up!  Parents that have signed up for field set up need to arrive at 5:15 so they have an opportunity to see how the field is prepped for each game. Girls’ scrimmage will start at 6, followed by the coed scrimmage, and then the boys’ scrimmage.
